I have been wearing Cascadia GTX's for at least 10 years. I really like a waterproof shoe and have stuck with this even though it doesn't fit me as great as previous models. I think the 14 was the last one that I really liked fitwise. Now a little roomy in the toe box. Keeps me dry though.

Runs very narrow.
Unless you have really narrow feet, I would choose another shoe. I measure a B width and these were very tight in the toe box. The laces are also made out of a very stiff material and are too short, making them difficult to tie. I wore them for a couple hikes and couldn’t tolerate them any longer. Thankfully, Brooks was great about accepting my return.

Love them
I absolutely love these shoes. I've bought several pairs of various Brooks over the past 3 or so years. I've liked all them accept one pair was sized to large. This pair of Cascadia shoes are great in the rain or walking in the wet muddy grass with my dog. It is so nice to have dry feet and cleats are spaced far enough apart that the mud easily washes off. The laces come undone so you will need to double knot them.

Excellent shoe to add to adventure collection!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these on sale. Love anything with gore-tex and thought I'd give them a go. Have a trail race coming up soon so I've started training right away with the cascadia 16 GTX. Highly recommended. They're comfy, stylish and from the highest quality material.

Shoe fits more narrow than glycerines. Causes pain in the top of my feet while wearing for more than a few minutes. these should be available in wide in order to allow better fitment.

What's with the laces?
Don't like the shoelaces. Hard to tie and often come loose. Will replace with my own laces. Shoe is OK, but unimpressive.

For changing weather conditions in Montana
Using these shoes in Montana on the trails for hiking and for my Fat tire bike in snow conditions. Paired with gaiters they are keeping my feet dry.
